Nintendo Co.’s new gaming console Switch is part of a bigger plan that will include more accessories, a deeper lineup of software and possible tie-ups with other technologies.

It seems there will be alot more for Nintendo to show us in the new year, after announcing last night that the full Nintendo Switch unveiling will be coming on January 12th, the new President of Nintendo for the first time answered some questions regarding the Switch, and hinted at much bigger plans including a large line-up of software and hardware also as he called will be many 'accessories', you can check out his full quoted interview below:

Plus ‘Pokémon Go’ Lifts Nintendo’s Bottom Line

Nintendo posted lackluster earnings on Wednesday that saw its string of quarterly losses continue, as the flop of the Wii U video game console continues to drag down on the company's bottom line.

Today's release of Nintendo's latest earnings, was a mixture of good and sad news for both consumers and investors. For one big 'N' lost again a good chunk of money as they only sold 349,000 Wii U's and under 2 million 3DS's, much less than they had hoped for, but on the other hand they are betting they will sell 2 Million of their new Nintendo System platform in the month of March alone!

But Nintendo still came out rosy for investors because of their sale of Mariners sports team, and their stake in Pokemon Corp, added over $12 Billion to their bottom line, even still the shares were on rollercoaster of up and down today as investors could not...

"Oh shit, Karen brought her stupid Nintendo thing to the party again. We’re DRINKING, Karen. We’re having CONVERSATIONS.”

We’ve watched the Nintendo Switch reveal video enough times now to have it memorized, beat-by-beat, as have other loyal Nintendo fans. One moment that’s stuck out in particular is the saga of “Karen,” the well-dressed urban chick with a cute haircut and a crippling addiction to her handheld.

Soon after millions of loyal Nintendo fans watched the Switch Reveal Trailer from last week, everyone starting talking about 'Karen' (giving her a name), and then making jokes about her style, haircut, and other habits, like not wanting to stop 'gaming' and bringing her stupid Nintendo Switch along to the party, well all her so-called friends just wanted to drink and talk during their rooftop party.

According To Reveal Trailer Actor. -- More good news for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Hybrid System.

The Nintendo Switch ditches the gimmickry that the past few Nintendo console controllers have imbibed, and instead goes back to the basics- a standard, asymmetric, dual analog controller, with four action, a D-pad, buttons, two triggers, two bumpers, and some system buttons.

Well the new Nintendo Switch of having the controller split into two on both sides, and then slide together on mounting bracket, or instead use by two different people playing an multi-player game together, does not look too easy or comfortable, the Reveal Trailer for the Switch shown last week by Nintendo finally, also show gamers (actors) trying out the system with the optional 'Pro Controller', which from video looks much like an Xbox design, and now in recent interview with one of the actual actors...

From the 20th birthday of the Nintendo 64 and the announcement of Sonic Mania to the teardown of the ultra-rare Nintendo PlayStation prototype and the first 13 years of Nintendo Power finding their way to the Internet, it’s been a pretty great year for classic gaming fans.

Morphus X300 has been on the market for one-year already, and its very similar to the features of Nintendo's Switch!

Nintendo Switch may have taken inspiration from China’s Aikun Morphus X300 handheld device, according to Reddit users.

Nintendo announced their Switch only a few days ago, and quickly afterwards Reddit users started commenting on the fact it looks and operates very similar to the already on the market device called 'Morphus X300' by Aikun which have been selling their devices for over one-year now, and recently someone interviewed one of the designers by the mobile tablet with detachable controllers.

We won't know for at least a year, and probably two

A robust list of publishing partners and the coy inclusion of NBA 2K17 in a promotional reel stirred hope in some that mainstream sports might be returning to Nintendo with the Switch console. It's too soon to answer that. A better question to ask is why it matters.

One key type of video games missing on previous more recent Nintendo consoles, has been 'Sports games' like from 2K or EA, there also been Nintendo's party type using their Mario or other cartoon characters, not the real Sports type games that gamers have been enjoying for years on their Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but will that change with the newly announced Nintendo Switch system.

Would enable the new system to generate interest beyond Nintendo's loyal fan base.

Nintendo must price its newly announced Nintendo Switch as much as $100 under that of the $300 Xbox One and PS4, analyst Michael Pachter has told investors.

World Famous Analyst is back finally with his thoughts on the Nintendo Switch have analyzing the teaser trailer they released yesterday, and he figures Nintendo is basically screwed unless they price it at current 3DSXL level of only $199, but otherwise he figures they will sell only 5 million units over the year once it releases in March 2017.

More Switch Details Confirmed By Nintendo After Yesterday's Short Teaser Video Was Released

In conversation with Japanese website Famitsu and translated by Perfectly Nintendo, the company confirmed that you will not be able to play Wii U and 3DS games.

We now know for sure the cartridge port shown in the 'teaser video' only accepts their new NX (Switch) modules, it does not in anyway allow you slip in an older Nintendo 3DS cartridge and play away, plus there is no hidden Wii U disc drive on the dock station.

If there is any 'backwards compatible' setup done, it will be controlled by Nintendo and most likely accessed via their eShop with of course some 'cost' involved in re-buying the older games, which we don't know if they will be 'emulated' or 'remaster/ports'.

NX_FEATURES.jpg
Cortex A57, NVidia 2nd-Generation Maxwell, 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage, 1080p 6.2" Multi-Touch Table

NWPlayer123 posted earlier today, after the big Nintendo Switch Preview Trailer, what is claimed to be the final devkit specs. and most likely the shipping retail specs for the upcoming big NX (Switch) Release coming up later on in March 2017, with some games!

Here is a brief rundown of the specs. which are similar to a Tegra K1/X1 type setup, but being a devkit list, there is good chance that the final retail specs are a bit bigger, and regarding limited 4GB RAM, remember that this system will use cartridges so that means most likely the game will map in as addition space, allowing developers almost all the space for operating power, and then regarding the 32GB storage, most likely as you can see from the video earlier, the docking station has USB ports, so more than likely Nintendo is doing...

A Console Architecture for the Living Room and Beyond

Now that Nintendo finally lifted the veil covering their NX (Switch) system, NVIDIA has decided to spill the beans on what powers their new breast of console/mobile hybrid, and so far from the blog entry below it looks like it might be an more powerful custom K1 design.

Earlier this hour, Nintendo released their 3 minute teaser preview trailer on their new Nintendo Switch console/mobile hybrid, but the key thing missing was what was powering their new breast, but thanks to NVIDIA's Blogs, we got some more info on what is under the hood, of course nothing is know for sure, until someone gets a physical unit in their hands and takes the first screwdriver to rip it open!

DeNA shutters U.S. offices as the early leader in mobile gaming retreats to Japan

Despite Nintendo's initial success in its foray into mobile gaming, with Pokemon GO becoming a global phenomenon over the summer, and Super Mario Run being lined up to be an unprecedented success, some breaking news has suggested that everything isn't necessarily going as straightforward as the prevailing narrative suggests.

Even tho Pokemon Go was very popular all around the world, it seems the success of it in Western World was not enough for Nintendo's mobile partner DENA to keep up an running USA office, instead they are going to manage all future game releases from Japan only, which means some fans are worried that in the future after Super Mario Run is released, that Nintendo's mobile arm will be Japan/Asia only, similar in setup to Sony's new direction in producing Mobile PlayStation games will be...

What does bathtub's and Donkey Kong have in common, just aks Miyamoto he will tell you the secret connection!

Famed Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto has confessed in a recent interview on Nintendo’s Japanese website that he came up with a number of Donkey Kong related ideas while he was comfortably relaxing in the company-owned housing’s communal bath.

I don't know about 'bathtubs', but I get my best ideas about new things, when i am super-drunk and about to pass out from lack of food, but everyone has their own special way of bringing out the 'genius' in them, and for Miyamoto it seems to be 'bathtubs'. :)

It's a new day, and as such we have yet another NX rumor, because since Nintendo is keeping it a big dark secret, everyone else is coming out of the woodwork with their own versions, rumors, speculation, and such, but this one seems to legit as least it was verified by mods on Reddit from a known solid source, so we will see how it turns out when big 'N' does finally decide to unveil their system.

Another Great Nintendo Wii U Game Review, by JHardin1112

Our very own MaxConsole Game Reviewer is back, with another one of his wonderful Game Reviews, this week he is reviewing the recently released Indie eShop game for the Nintendo Wii U console, called 'The Gem Collector', so check it out in full below!

There are a few notable indie developers on the Nintendo scene right now, but only a handful of those produce some real gems worthy of picking up. One such game is The Gem Collector from TreeFall studios. If you don’t know anything about TreeFall studios, I’ll sum them up in one word - passionate. The team at TS started out with The Letter, which admittedly came across as someone’s first attempt at using Unity, rather than a complete game, but hey, I own it and I’m happy with the purchase. What was evident in the game and in all the posts, video interviews, etc was that...

Another Great Nintendo 3DS Game Review, by JHardin1112

Our very own MaxConsole Game Reviewer is back, with another one of his wonderful Game Reviews, this week he is reviewing the recently released Hyrule warriors Legends for the Nintendo 3DS handheld, so check it out in full below!

Back in 2014, the Wii U added a sweet little game called Hyrule Warriors. Basically, it’s Dynasty Warriors merged with the Legend of Zelda series. While Hyrule Warriors received high marks across various sites, there are those of us who never picked it up, namely me, myself, and I. So when I saw Legends announced, I was quite excited to play a handheld version of the popular title. And thanks to Nintendo of America, I have been able to play, and now review the portable offering of Hyrule Warriors. I played the game on my original 3DS, and while I did experience some framerate...
