The cart version of Lego City Undercover needs a big install

Lego City Undercover is the next major third-party port heading to Nintendo Switch, but early copies are already turning some console owners off of the game.
Earlier this week, there was alot of uproar over the fact most 'third-party' games on the Switch will be $10 more, even tho they are same as their previous PS3/X360 ports, and now a new uproar over the fact that buy 'Lego City Undercover' in physical form is waste, and it installs the 'cartridge' to your storage eating up 13gb of your tiny stock free 25gb of space, leaving you no choice but to invest in some Micro SDXHC cards right away if you wish to play more Switch games other than just 'Lego City' on your newly bought hybrid system.

PLEASE DO PANIC! - Browser Hax's like 'PegaSwitch' are confirmed NO LONGER working with this 'Stability' update!

Nintendo Switch is less then a month old, and we already have a new firmware update ontop of the first day 1 update at launch!
As usual when consoles first roll out there is going to be alot of 'stability' updates, but since that 'buzzword' is normally used to mean 'exploits have been patched', the world was in whirlwind panic when the 'update notice' flashed across their Switch screens, but PLEASE WORRY, as this small patch seems to have indeed patched out the 'memory leaks' with the hidden web browser, so goodbye 'PegaSwitch'!
Enjoy Updating If You Wish To Lose Possible Future 'HomeBrew' Support! :(

Or if you want to play SAFE...

Reggie: We’ve Turned the Industry on Its Ear

Nintendo of America’s President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime recently appeared on Fox News to talk about the Nintendo Switch launch.
Nintendo seems to think they have invented the Toaster and Slice Bread again for the video gaming industry, but will it turn out like that, will we be seeing in 4 years or less, Nintendo at #1 position in the sales charts, and Sony and Microsoft trying to bring up the rear.

Up from the original 8 million, and even higher than the recent 16 million figure!

It seems sales are so good for the Nintendo Switch, that production is ramping up so much that now its up to 20 million units!
Nintendo claims their Switch is the fastest-selling console in their gaming history, and it seems the factories producing them are also seeing that as already it was stated that big 'N' doubled their original 8 million to a new 16 million order, but it could be as high as 20 million!

The extra cost on Switch games might give you pause

When Minecraft: Story Mode — The Complete Adventure comes to Nintendo Switch in June, it will cost $39.99.
That’s according to various retailers, which put the game up for pre-order yesterday.

It seems almost everything on the new Nintendo Switch is $10 bucks more, and some are blaming it on the 'special coating' on the cartridges so kids don't eat them, and others are blaming it on the tiny size and higher cost to make them, but is that really true?

CEO predicts "Wii-like" sales potential amid instant sell-outs of new shipments.

The successful launch of the Nintendo Switch earlier this month is already creating retail shortages and steep markups on the secondary market.
Tomorrow Toys 'R Us claims they will have more Switch'es in, and Amazon had some today but they were gone in 5 minutes, and big 'N' has recently stated they doubled up production to 16 million for fiscal year 2017, from 8 million, but will that be enough to meet demand, GameStop does not think so, they are counting on the Switch being a 'hard to find' item thru-out the first 12 months! :)

Surprise, surprise, almost everyone who is buying a Nintendo Switch also wants a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

It goes without saying that Nintendo’s iconic series is the main lure for driving people to pick up the console at the moment as other titles slowly leak in.
Well, I don't know about you, but what else is there to play on Nintendo Switch besides Zelda, not like I going to 'milk some cows', or 'play look at my partner to see whom can draw his fake gun faster', type games, and Mario Kart re-buy-over-again is not out yet, so only Zelda.

Introducing the bespoke Dock Sock

The industrious community on Etsy will take any opportunity to fill a perceived need, and friends do we ever need the Dock Sock.
After almost 3 weeks of people complaining about the 'broken' Left Joy-Con, big 'N' finally stepped up to the plate and is offering everyone a 'piece of foam' to fix their 'desyncing' issues, but still big 'N' will not admit that their hard plastic DOCK is roughing up their cheap plastic SCREEN, and as such, people are looking for ways to 'prevent damage', and so far the best solution has been the 'Dock Sock' :)

Foam on the range

While Nintendo remains mostly mum on the issue of some left Joy-Con controllers becoming desynced from the Switch console, it appears it has a solution for those affected.
Originally, big 'N' told everyone with 'Lefties' problems to stop playing behind their giant fish tank, but it seems the REAL problem has now been discovered, there is tiny piece of 'conductive' foam missing from some batches of 'Left' Joy-Con's and Nintendo is kind enough to offer replacements for FREE giving you your 'Foam on the range' you were missing, so you can go back to both hands on the Joysticks! :)

“The situation has drastically changed”

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the “Igavania” game from Koji Igarashi, is no longer coming to Wii U, Igarashi announced today in a Kickstarter update. That version has been canceled in favor of a Nintendo Switch version.
Since the Nintendo Wii U Console is basically R.I.P. the developers behind Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, think it would be best to stop their existing efforts on Wii U, and regroup and focus instead of the newly launched Nintendo Switch for all their KS Backers instead.

"Switch is mostly custom kernel. They used bits of Android"

Back when the Switch was known as the Nintendo NX there were rumours which suggested that the console would make use of Google's Android operating system, and according to former Cyanogen CEO Kirt McMaster, the Japanese giant actually went as far as to approach Cyanogen regarding its OS.
We already know from studying recent dumps of the Switch eMMC and RAM that Nintendo basically rewrote their 3DS Kernel for the Switch, but also uses alot of Android libraries and such inside their OS to manage rendering and drivers, etc. -- And it seems originally big 'N' was talking to Cyanogen to produce their OS, but the CEO turned them down and say to them to 'Stick it' :)

Amiibo_SN_Changer.jpg
UPDATE V2: Added batch generation for multiple new serial numbers for easier use with N2 Elite. The original version is still available for those who prefer the old method.

This python 3 script decrypts an Amiibo BIN file using Amiitool, generates a random tag serial, creates a new BIN file with the new serial, and encrypts it for use. Currently only set up for Windows but could easily be edited for use on Linux.
AnalogMan is back with another cool scene release, this one is basically is designed only for those that use Amiibo emulating devices such as N2^Elite (aka) Amiiqo, Datel PowerTag or NaMiio. This app is no way designed for those who write Amiibo figurines to blank NFC tags or those with real Amiibo characters.
