Earlier we reported on what Pachter thought about Scorpio prices, now here is his thoughts on the NX!

Outspoken Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter is back, this time with a warning relating to the Nintendo NX price point.

The console wars are on full force, more so now then it was back 3 years ago when PS4 and XB1 launched, now we have the PS4 NEO, the PS4 SLIM, the XBOX ONE S (slim), and the upcoming Xbox One Scorpio, not to mention the amazing third-wheel joining into the battle of the new generation of consoles with Nintendo NX and their mystery box that so far seems to be hybrid of both handheld, tablet, mobile, console all in one, will it fly or not, but the biggest problem that world-famous analyst Pachter sees is the price point!

Sega announces that they a different strategy in dealing with fan remakes, than Nintendo is doing right now!

Recent fan remakes of Metroid 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog have retro gaming fans clamoring for more. Problem is, only one of the two is still available after Nintendo buried the aforementioned Metroid remake and over 500 other fan-remade games.

When it comes to supporting the fans, Sega says go for it, we love the fandom of our characters in your own games that you created, which seems alot better than Nintendo's strategy which recently has been to send you a team of their best lawyers to your door.

Hype Builds Up For The Mysterious Console

Speculations on the Nintendo NX have been running rampant, but they might soon end. According to a Wall Street Journal report, the official details of the mysterious console will be released by Nintendo in early October.

Another day, and yet another new rumor about the Nintendo NX, it has been nothing but unconfirmed reports, insider info, and tons of speculation on what the NX is all about, even to the point some people went to the great trouble of producing clever faked prototypes of it using a 3D Printer, which caused even more hype, but now it comes with new report that analysts from WSJ are saying Nintendo will officially pull the wraps of their mystery box/handheld/console/hybrid/whatchamacallit finally in early October.

Those trying to find the app today are unlikely to be successful. The app was indeed pulled from the Store!

Yesterday, we reported on Universal Emulator one of the first game emulators built on the Windows 10 platform. The app let users load ROMs, from Nintendo and Sega, to play on Windows 10 PCs and phones. It even supports the new Bluetooth wireless Xbox One S controller, HoloLens and Microsoft's Continuum for phone.

That didn't take long, when the news story broke yesterday about the NESBOX passing certification for Xbox One, everyone was wondering what was Microsoft or Nintendo going to do, well today we got the answer, as Microsoft pulls the app and tells the world why they did so!

NES, SNES, Mega Drive and GameBoy emulator to be released on Xbox One in a few days!

Universal Emulator, an independent application by developer Nesbox, passed Xbox One certification today. It allows users to play ROMs of NES, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advanced titles.

Nintendo might have something to say about this, they been hard-core recently on shutting down anything fan-related, and while this Universal Emulator does not contain any cough (illegal ROM's, actual cartridge backups), it does contain some Fan-Related games written for the old hardware, and it does allow you to Load ROM's via a USB Drive, so there is that grey-line of copyright all over again.

Refunds being offered

Back in February, we told you the Wii U port of the beautifully epic Hyper Light Drifter was in limbo due to issues with the game engine running natively on the console. There was hope the port would still come out, albeit at a later date than the other versions. Unfortunately, those hopes have been dashed.

Well so much for this Kickstarter game, even tho they did get it out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, they are not able to finish it for the Wii U or Vita, claiming that is issues with the game engine itself, not allowing them to port the game over, forcing them to canned the whole project instead for the other systems.

Pokemon Go, caused Nintendo stock to jump, but the plumber Mario caused it to become a Power Jump!

Nintendo’s stock blasted northward again on Wednesday, following the surprise appearance of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto at Apple’s iPhone 7 event.

Seems investors are happy that big 'N' is finally embracing the the mobile world just like they were happy to see Pokemon Go on mobile devices, they were even more happy when Nintendo surprised the world and announced that Super Mario is coming exclusively to the Apple mobile devices, sending their stock higher than it been in long time.

ASMB Games is forced to change their new game into DMCA's Sky, after Nintendo issues an Takedown!

Nintendo squashed a fan-made game called No Mario’s Sky, but the project’s development team promptly responded with another game, DMCA’s Sky.

Yet another Takedown Notice from big 'N', they been going hard-core over anything remotely featuring their famous character IP's, but in this case, the developers behind the mash-up of the classic Super Mario mixed with newly popular No Man's Sky, decide instead of totally removing No Mario's Sky from their website, and throwing it into the graveyard of forgotten DMCA removed games, cleverly change it into DMCA's Sky allowing fans to still enjoy their fun new game, while dreaming what should be Mario in their mind instead.

Nintendo News recently interviewed the small four-man indie team behind No Mario's Sky, after their takedown notice was issued in...

Emily Rogers is back with possible final list of specs. for NX based on her insider research!

About seven months ago, ArcadeGirl was told by numerous sources that the NX would be a very controversial system. Now Nintendo 3DS owners will have access to a near-unlimited wealth of Super Mario courses to play! Players can also create courses with nearly all the tools available in the original Wii U version, along with interactive lessons.

Just like earlier rumors stated that big 'N' is supporting the 3DS big time, and it seems so with this latest big blast of upcoming 3DS games and other news from today's earlier Nintendo Direct, which of course didn't mention the NX at all in any shape or form.

Looks like the 3DS is here to stay, for now.

Nintendo in general are known to drop support for their older consoles as soon as their newer one is out- this has been true ever since the Nintendo 64 days, but that is not going to occur with the N3DS, as new report claims Nintendo will support it through 2018.

Emily tbe famous Nintendo insider is back again with some more new info, and this report claims she knows that even when Nintendo NX launches in March 2017, that it will not spell the death of the N3DS, infact big 'N' will be ramping up 3DS support and continue releasing new games and more 3DS color changes like the recent Galaxy model just announced, and this continued support will be thru-out fiscal year 2018, a whole two years of more Nintendo 3DS support after their new NX handheld/console hybrid launches.
