Trial of the Sword and a New Hard Mode Highlight the Additional Content

The first DLC pack, called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Master Trials, launches this summer, while the second DLC pack launches in holiday 2017.
Hailed by both critics and audiences as one of the most ambitious video games Nintendo has ever produced, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game has earned universal acclaim. Icons for a possible deluxe version appear

A dataminer has found hints that Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga is heading to Nintendo 3DS. Twitter user SciresM, well-known in the Pokémon and 3DS hacking communities, dumped files over the weekend that included icons and other information pointing to a deluxe version of the Game Boy Advance role-playing game.
The Nintendo Switch might be out and selling out within hours of new shipments, but when it comes to new games, there is noting better than the very popular New 3DS Handheld, and it seems big 'N' is still willing to support it even with much lower sales, 3DS is still #1 :)

The solid sales numbers for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe equate to an attach rate of 45 percent - meaning nearly one in two Nintendo Switch owners in the U.S. purchased a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the first day it was available.
With more than 459,000 combined packaged and digital sales in the U.S. on launch day alone (April 28), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch system is the fastest-selling game in the long-running Mario Kart series.
Switch on a plane

Since its launch on 3rd March, the Nintendo Switch has been selling like hotcakes with 2.74 million units shifted so far.
Normally, Nintendo uses overland and sea-based containers to get their products to the warehouses across the world, but with Switch selling out in hours not days, they decided to hire some planes to ship over the Switches the moment they left the factory floor.
Police Sketch Patent Ruled Unpatentable

On April 28, a federal appeals court confirmed that the patent asserted against Nintendo by RecogniCorp should never have been granted.
Finally, after 6 years of fighting it out, Nintendo has been granted the final win over the battle of Police Sketches vs. Mii Avatars.
It’s not perfect, but it works!

Nintendo has been noncommittal when it comes to virtual reality, even though it filed a patent late last year that could turn its Switch console into a VR device.
The Switch itself when the JoyCon's are removed is basically a 6.2" tablet, so in theory it could work like Gear VR, but instead of slipping in Samsung phone, you slide in a Switch, and one Youtuber decided to do basically just that and see how well Nintendo Switch VR works! :)
No more issues with playing locally without internet, if you come across outdated game versions between Switches!

Nintendo Switch games will soon be able to update locally via your nearby friend's Switch console connected to the same LAN.
The feature is not available yet, but Nintendo claims it will be enabled soon in a future upcoming firmware update.
Business as usual

Once again, Nintendo will not hold a traditional press briefing onstage during E3, the company announced today.
On one side, Nintendo claims they have learned from their failures, but on the other side they are doing the same again crap, for the first time the big E3 Gaming Convention is open to the public with people lined up by thousands buying tickets for $200 each and they get with that nice front row seats at the big press conferences and will be able to see first hand what Sony and Microsoft have planned, but again if you an Nintendo fan you better run back home to your mom's basement, grab some chips and try to watch a Japanese-voiced-over Nintendo Direct video that is boring as hell, but this is Nintendo so I guess we going to have to get used to it from now on during E3.

Company Predicts, after selling a record 2.7 Million Units Globally in the first launch month alone!

Japan's Nintendo Co Ltd said on Thursday it expects operating profit to jump 121 percent in the year through March 2018, bolstered by strong demand for its new Switch console.
Nintendo has released their annual fiscal year end report, and since the Switch launched in March just before their fiscal-end, it contains in it that they sold 2.7 million units globally, and they are raising their hopes for the new fiscal year to 10 million more!
Slowly the makeup of Nintendo Japan is changing!

Genyo Takeda has worked on some of Nintendo’s most iconic games, consoles, and tech. As of this June, the 68 year-old is stepping down.
Unlike Sony, Nintendo is still basically an Japanese company, with 90% or more of their top execs. being in control at big 'N' for many decades, but one of the old guard is leaving Mr. Takeda whom was famous for alot of Nintendo's early innovation hardware ideas.
Nintendo Download

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game races to the Nintendo Switch console with more characters, karts and tracks unlocked from the start than any other game in Mario Kart history.
This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured content:
Adds 60fps in newest patch! --- It’s a good trade!

The Bomberman series tends to target 60 fps, which is why so many fans were let down with Super Bomberman R’s 30 fps cap on the Nintendo Switch.
Bomberman on the Switch was one of best-selling ever in the game's franchise history, but sadly, it was laggy, and horrible to play, but now the latest patch fixes up those issues, but at an great cost, it lowers the DOCK mode to 720p and the PORTABLE mode to 540p. :)
Purchase a Happy Meal for the Chance to Enter to Win a Nintendo Switch System

Nintendo fans will want to collect each of the eight toys, which include Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Invincible Mario, a Red Koopa Shell and 1-Up Mushroom. Each one of the toys has a special function, like a translucent Mario that lights up in different colors.
Nintendo is partnering with McDonald’s to bring some of its most famous characters from the Mushroom Kingdom to Happy Meals everywhere.
And Monster Hunter 5, apparently!

After a positive start that's prompted some external sales projections and - reportedly - manufacturing to go up a gear, there have been strong early signs for the Nintendo Switch.
While we wait for the official year-end annual report to come out from Nintendo in a few days, which hopefully will contain some firm figures on how the Nintendo Switch and its sales has been going along, we have yet another wild prediction of what the future holds!
Play Your Favorite Games On Any Device!

The developers behind Borderless Gaming have announced a new app coming soon that will allowing streaming even on the Switch.
Based on their own in-house custom protocol, they hope to soon offer beta tests next month of their new 3rd-party streaming app! :)

"I mean, if it was a $1000 game system, maybe I’d care."

Nintendo’s new platform, the Nintendo Switch, won’t really need support from third party developers according to the CEO of Ashes of the Singularity developer, Stardock.
Well, not sure where this developer is getting his 'pricing' from, but no gaming system on the market right now is around $1,000 even the upcoming Scorpio at tops will be $699, but anyway he thinks that the Switch can handle having just Nintendo first-party games.
