Activision is releasing a special festive Skylander Sensei toy -- Jingle Bell Chompy Mage. Available at participating retailers from 25th November, 2016, Jingle Bell Chompy Mage is a specially designed toy that appears in the game dressed in a Santa-inspired wardrobe.

Just when you thought your holiday shopping list was complete, Activision comes along and ruins your plans, by releasing two more Skylander's that you will just have to to track down and buy before they are sold-out to complete your NFC Toy collection! :)

@flat_z sadly confirms this new firmware patches the v4.01 PS4 Jailbreak demoed at GeekPwn '16

We all knew this day was coming, but some were hoping it would take Sony a bit longer, but its now been confirmed that brand-new v4.06 firmware which is now rolling out worldwide to all the millions and millions of PlayStation 4 consoles, does indeed patch out the recent Jailbreak/Linux exploit demoed by the Chinese security team at GeekPwn '16, just under a month ago running on the older v4.01 PS4 firmware.

@modrobert writes: "Sony has released PS4 Firmware Update v04.060.000 via PSN (SEN). flat_z has confirmed on Twitter the Chinese exploit to run Linux on PS4 was patched by Sony in...
Another big game missing its 'localization' schedule getting delayed by a couple of months in early 2017.

During the first English Persona 5 gameplay livestream today, Atlus announced that Persona 5 is delayed until April 4, 2017 in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. It was previously scheduled for February 14.

Atlus also revealed the final art for the Take Your Heart Premium Edition, which we have pictured above for you, but the sad news is the 'audio' for Western World release of Persona 5 will NOT be finished ontime, and the game will be delayed until April now.

I can't help but think this is again caused by the voice actors strike, even tho neither Sony nor Nintendo has said that is the reason its been slow getting 'localization' done for these big games, first Zelda and now Persona 5 which is bad news for alot of Ponies! :)

Teaser Trailer Released

Darksiders Warmastered Edition will be the first title from THQ Nordic to get the PlayStation 4 Pro treatment, and it looks REAL pretty.

My excitement is mounting for the 22nd, but while in waiting, let's can soak in new the teaser trailer and 4k screens released today!

More than 1,200 websites were rendered unavailable when access to network service provider Dyn was blocked

The ultimate target of the Oct. 21 attack that rendered more than 1,200 websites unavailable may have been the PlayStation Network, an online-gaming service operated by Sony Corp.

It seem that big Internet Shutdown that crippled most of the East Coast and then partly the West Coast for over 12 hours, was infact caused by one single videogamer that got really pissed off against Sony and their PlayStation Network, so he launched the biggest DDoS ever, using millions of millions of little IoT devices like webcams that have their 'default password' not changed to bring down the while Dyn network, killing not only PSN but tons of other popular websites like Facebook, Twitter, NYTimes and many others!

Some PlayStation users believe that their accounts have been hacked.

Sony has denied that its PlayStation network has been hacked after some people in the UK reported problems.

There might be a new Sony PSN hack floating around, at least in the UK area, but Sony claims NOT, but many users are reporting their accounts get frozen and then when they finally get back in, their funds are missing, but Sony still saying there is no problems on their end.

If you thought killing 'hookers' in GTA was bad, just wait until you do one in Watch_Dogs 2!

@Swizzasaur on Twitter has shared a screenshot of what occurred after he killed a prostitute while trying to enjoy playing the game!

Watch_Dogs 2 got leaked early by alot of bigbox retailers, it officially comes out Tomorrow, but already people have found some 'horrible' side effects in playing the game early, and this one seems has missed the 'censor' filter unlike the dead whores in GTA.

No comment from Ubisoft yet, but sadly the original poster has lost access to his PSN for a week...
#BlackGate - PS4 firmware may be the issue! - Damn you, v4.05 firmware!

The PlayStation 4 Pro is built to take advantage of two bleeding-edge display technologies: 4K resolution and high dynamic range (HDR) color. But some people are reporting that the new console isn’t working properly with their 4K television, and it appears that the PS4’s latest system software is at fault.

Yet another problem has appeared for the newly launched PlayStation 4 Pro Console, first Sony tried to admit that 4K TV Set's are the problem if you not getting a nice 4K picture, now it seems updating your PS4PRO to v4.05 firmware (which you need to do), is causing the issues.

It will list for $19.99. Execs Promise Much More to Come!

Hollywood just got serious about virtual reality: 20th Century Fox’s Fox Innovation Lab released “The Martian VR Experience” from executive producer Ridley Scott and director Robert Stromberg for HTC Vive and PlayStation VR Monday.

It is going to take a while before NASA can finish building a life-size EM Drive that could get us to the Red Planet Mars in only 70 days, but we don't have to wait until the 'impossible drive' is finished, because guess what we can visit Mars right now TODAY, thanks the wonderful people at 20th Century Fox and the PlayStation Virtual Reality tech called PSVR, and it only...
PlayStation Exclusives Get the Live-Action Treatment in New Commercial, The King

In the latest PlayStation commercial from Sony entitled “The King”, several upcoming PlayStation exclusives as well as some older classics are showcased in live-action with impressive CGI.

Sony is ramping up their ad marketing, with their newly launched PS4PRO that melts down after usage, they need to win over many consumers since the Xbox One has been The King of sales for the last four months, so irony enough their new video ad is titled 'The King', and it features live-action with a bunch of tiny scenes of various upcoming exclusive PS4 games, like the new God of War.

PlayStation 4 Pro goes on sale today, and Sony talks about how PSVR will take-off, but it might take a while!

Sony is unsure what genre will be the biggest hit for virtual reality (VR) gaming, a company executive admitted, but said new experiences will be developed over the next two years for the PlayStation VR.

Even tho, the PlayStation VR headset has been outselling demand, and its sales are above original estimates, Sony has recently admitted, the 'killer app' for VR has not been found yet, and it might take up to 2 years before VR gaming becomes the norm.

Prepare to spend some time waiting around

If you’re looking to pick up Dishonored 2 tomorrow for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, prepare to download a 9 GB day-one patch first.

Another new game, another big download, its getting the point that 'the disc' you buy in the retail stores is basically useless, as you still have to digitally download most of the game to fix all the bugs and glitches in the game, and those reviewing the new Dishonored 2 on PC's, says that graphics performance sucks badly, you might as well just play it on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles. :)

And 4K screenshots for PS4 Pro

A new update for Sony’s Sharefactory PS4 video-editing application was announced today, adding several new features to help prepare for the PS4 Pro’s impending launch.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is just a few hours away, infact some stores have already broken street date in many countries and games are already trying to enjoy the 4K Gaming, but your new shiny triple-decker Burger King (don't eat it), needs alot of updates like this one.

It’s not just work, deadlines and meetings on American employees’ minds at their workplace. A new study reveals a large number of Americans play games at work.

According to the U.S. Digital Media Consumers study (PDF) by PayPal, U.S. employees play mobile games (30 percent), PC/laptop games (13 percent), and console games (10 percent) at work.

Recently, PayPal did a massive survey and study on what do video gamers play on and where, and the study finds that the new PlayStation 4 console has taken over the choice over gaming with males instead of PC's, but when it comes to gaming overall, smartphones are still the most used, and sadly its doing working hours, many employees when the boss is not watching is busy playing video games on their mobile devices it seems, instead of doing actual 'work' during their day.

An update to the game's Creation Kit (for making mods) is live.

Almost a year after Fallout 4 hit store shelves (and following some consternation from Sony), mod support is finally available for the game's PlayStation 4 version -- thanks to an update to the game's Creation Kit mod toolset.

It was hit-and-miss with Skyrim, alot of fighting but it finally occurred, mods on the new Skyrim at launch last week for PS4, but now the fight over having mods on Fallout 4 on Sony is finally over, and new update will allow it, but sadly like Skyrim support it will be limited sandbox, more of like enhanced 'plugin' add-on instead of full-featured mod like what is found already on the Xbox One.
