Very Useful Adapter Is Being Designed by RichDevX For The PSVita Community!

Now with #HENkaku running on thousands of PlayStation Vita's out there, something needs to be done to make expanding the memory on the Vita and PSTV at an much more affordable price!

We have not heard from RichDevX for a while, but he was famous back in the day for early PlayStation 3 development, in helping port over various dongle codes making it open-source for users, and improving various tools for development in producing homebrew and custom firmware, and now he is helping to design a nice PlayStation Vita to MicroSD adapter, along with a little debug/breakout area for more usage and expansion, with the hope that once this project is finished it will help open up the now growing Vita community more, just like release of HENkaku did, having a better way to expand your memory and also design programs for...

Patches the #HENkaku exploit, so DON'T upgrade to it!

Firmware 3.61 is now out for the PS Vita. As expected, this latest firmware update is a “stability” update that patches the “HENkaku” hack which was released 10 days ago for firmware 3.60. Those who want to enjoy the benefits of the hack should not update to firmware 3.61.

Is this a new record? -- We all knew since the release of HENkaku for our v3.60 PlayStation Vita's, that Sony would release another one of their world-famous in the scene world at least with the great line saying its 'stability' update, because we all know how weird its to see your Vita rocking away on the table by itself once an exploit is released, so these must-have firmware updates, stop that dead!

Is Piracy now a Reality on the PlayStation Vita?

Ten Days ago, the HENkaku hack was released on PS Vita firmware 3.60, opening the doors of homebrews and emulators for the PS Vita. Today, a PS Vita pirated game was released on the internet, that can be played on hacked consoles.

We all knew this day would be coming, that it might be possible to directly play retail Vita games on your Sony's handheld, thanks to the recent release of the HENkaku that allowed native homebrew & emulators for the first time on systems still running v3.60.

Of course the d/l link been 'censored' above, but its easy enough to find out there on the 'net, now the big question is...

Proper Vita Game Rips Are Now Out In The Scene Wild!

The warez scene group 'PSiCO' has been recently releasing proper PlayStation Vita game rips of some retail cartridges onto the underground 'net for those that own the recently released Cobra BlackFin.

We have reported on the Cobra BlackFin dongle for the PlayStation Vita a few times, and even tho there is not much info out there on how it all works, and no full review, it does seem to be slowly shipping out to resellers now, and being used by some Vita handheld owners, and now a old-school warez scene group has started to slowly release proper dumps from various retail Vita games out into the wild west of the underground 'net for people to grab that don't want to go thru all the problems in making their own personal backups.

MAXLander has been months in the making.... And it is finally landing soon at reseller near you....

We would like to introduce you to MAXLander – The World's First Complete NFC Backup System. MAXLander is a unique tool for users who wish to backup their NFC game data to avoid missing or broken data.

NFC Toys are all the rage these days in the video gaming world, from originally the first being Skylanders, then later Disney got into the game, and now more recently Amiiboo's have appeared from Nintendo.

There is three major problems with these little sometimes costly easy-to-break toys:

  1. You can't sometimes find the one you want to unlock the feature you need in game.
  2. You can't backup your NFC user data that you spend so much time building up the skills for that character.
  3. You can't copy/clone/edit the store NFC user data to...

Today April 16th 2015, WikiLeaks publishes an analysis and search system for The Sony Archives: 30,287 documents from Sony Pictures Entertainment and 173,132 emails, to and from more than 2,200 people

Back last year just before the big holiday season for Sony, they got 'hacked' yet again and this time Pictures division was the target and instead of having downtime of no PlayStation network for a whole month, we instead got treated to some early releases of blockbuster movies, along with tons of chatter that North Korea was behind the cyber-attack because of the movie 'The Interview' and along with the DVD screener leaks, a bunch of Hollywood emails came along side it, showcasing how dirty Sony loves to play, being almost as bad as the pirates...
