Now you need to shell out at least $1,500 for a new Soundbar system to make usage of it!

Microsoft also made some announcements concerning the Xbox during its event today in New York City. One of the biggest announcements was that Dolby Atmos audio support will be added to the Xbox One S and Xbox One with the Creators Update that was also announced today.

If you have already upgraded to the best there is for your living room setup, but was wondering where the hell the 'sound' went, and you were listening to a pair of tin-cans instead, well no longer do you have to bitch, because soon that $1,500 you shelled out for the new sound system, will be coming to life and blasting you across the living room and hurting your eardrums because finally and all for free (I sure hope so, after spending all that money, on new Xbox console, new 4K TV, new soundbar), Microsoft is going to be so kind and...

A slightly more Open Modding World on Xbox, due in part the larger 5GB space and allowing of 'external assets'.

Despite not being released until this Friday, October 28, Bethesda is already accepting console mod submissions for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition. But it's accepting far more on Xbox One than PS4.

The allowing of 'external assets' seems to be the key for more mods from the community getting approved before the big release of newly updated Skyrim: Special Edition for the Xbox One than the PlayStation 4 setup which is limited to only 1GB and no external files.

Xbox Scorpio Making "Amazing Progress" Spencer Says "We are feeling good about schedule"

Since PlayStation 4 Pro is coming out soon for this Holiday 2016, and Scorpio is not until next year Holiday 2017, Microsoft has ramped-up their ads, websites, and added new 'taglines' to make sure people wait for the 'The Most Powerful Console Ever'.

Microsoft this week, has decided the 'console war' is on full-blast, and the battleground is over the fact there is one year wait between the early PlayStation 4 Pro release in November and Microsoft's planned released of 'Scorpio' for Holiday 2017, so the key is to get gamers to wait for the 'better console', and as such Microsoft's marketing is pushing the True Native 4K and Better VR as only possible on their next Xbox, that Sony is well 'half-ass' and can't do what they will be offering next year with their 'Most Powerful Xbox Ever'.

More and More older Xbox 360 games are now Playable on your newer Xbox One console!

Microsoft adds The Orange Box, Galaga Legions, and Joe Danger 2: The Movie from Hello Games to the lineup of Xbox 360 games backward compatible on Xbox One.

When Microsoft first announced that they are adding the feature of 'backwards compatibility' to their Xbox One console, there was alot of doubters, thinking it would be horrible like how the Xbox 360 was very limited in playing original Xbox games, but so far Microsoft has lived up to their promises with releasing new games every week, and alot of very popular and most requested ones.

Microsoft’s Xbox revenue declined 5% last quarter despite winning some U.S. market share from Sony

Microsoft published its latest earnings report today, beating analyst expectations and reporting revenue growth in all of its divisions -- except the one which houses its Xbox games business.

Microsoft overall as corporation together is doing well, but when you rip open their Xbox figures, it does not look so good, even tho they were able to win the last 3 months of console sales in America, their overall Xbox Division is slipping downwards revenue-wise.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland, but sadly its not coming out until Fall 2017, but I am sure we will be treated to tons of epic mouth-watering screenshots over the next 12 months as we wait for the big console only release, sorry PC gamers, you are being left out in the cold, but at least by Fall 2017 both consoles will be 4K gaming ready to enjoy!

What is Retro, is New Again, and as such Phil wants Original Xbox running on their new Xbox One

The Xbox One has very few advantages over its main rival the PS4, but one key area where Microsoft has outdone Sony is backwards compatibility. Slowly but surely Microsoft has been unlocking the Xbox 360’s huge library of games and allowing the original discs to play when inserted into the Xbox One.

The return of the original big black/green box that started it all, the XBOX might soon be making an comeback in some form of virtual emulator or backwards compatible setup similar to how Microsoft been adding games from their Xbox 360 library to Xbox One store.
