    Hello,

    I have a 3ds and i bought the 3ds gateway 2 months ago and i have now a wierd problem.
    Every time i boot to the gateway menu (L button) i don't see the menu.
    I see the LOGO on the top screen and after 2 seconds i got stripes on both screens.
    Then the 3ds goes black and boot to the menu of the 3ds.
    I see the game in the icon and i can start it but it freeze a lot.

    What i have tried:
    1) Formated the nintendo 3ds;
    2) Formated the mini sd card(blue card) and put the file (orginal) back on;
    3) Formated the sd card(Launcher) and put the laucher (original) back on;
    4) Installed the blue card;
    5) Differend sd cards;

    I have use the SDformater program to format the sd card.

    Can anyone help me?

    Best regards Raoul

    i have tried 2.01b and 2.02b and no luck.

    ่Just use correct version of lancher of 2.0b1 or b2 then hold L and enter to GWmode ( hold L til the GW GUI appear)

    I don't think you don't absolutely need to go to the gateway menu. At least in b2. Maybe once to set it up. After that, if you don't press 'L' it boots straight to GW mode. But if you need to setup Emunand for something other than your system nand then, yeah that could be a problem.

    I have 2.01b launcher.
    The first time i boot with L en when i want to play another game i don't go to the gateway menu.
    I thought every time if you want to play a game (first boot) with firmware higher then 4.5 you must use the L button.
    If i don't use the L then mine games freeze a lot.

    b1 was a little unstable when booting into gateway mode. B2 still has a few hiccups, but not nearly as many as b1. I have noticed I have more success when I don't press 'L' than when I do. From a cold boot, I can get into gateway mode without 'L'. But I don't remember if I needed to at least boot with 'L' once before that happened.

    Is this being sarcastic or not? I can't really tell, but if your L button is faulty you won't be able to enter the gateway menu, someone else had the same issue as their L button did not work, you can get a replacement L button from ebay etc

    If it was being sarcastic.....don't be a douche XD

    I remember the buttons on my Nes controller going bad. I was like 8 so i just opened it up put in a small folded piece of paper over the contact. It mostly worked for the next year.
