Your XMB menu, if where you can turn on and off the vsh menu, i believe. In the GEN firmwares. Just hit "select" in the XMB.

thanks boosh... but i believe you don't know what my problem is...???

in 5.50 GEN and M33... if you enabled VSH MENU on RECOVERY by turning off the UNIT then turn-on while HOLDING R-Trigger... then upon exiting and returning to XMB MENU... you can access it by PRESSING [SELECT]... yes... everybody on CFW ever since VSH MENU introduce knew that...

    but i'm talking PSP2000-V3 and PSP3000 here... using CHICHEN R2... and i'm referring to 5.03 GEN-C... not CFWEnabler 3.60...

because in CFWEnabler 3.60 you can disable or enabled VSH MENU anytime in CFWEnabler 3.60 menu...

but on 5.03 GEN-C... i accidentally disable it... so PRESSING [SELECT] has no other effects... as it was disabled... now i don't have VSH MENU or VSH RECOVERY...

and my ORIGINAL QUESTION is... how can i enabled it again... so I CAN PRESS [SELECT] to access VSH MENU or VSH RECOVERY again...

i can't find anything on 5.03 GEN-C main menu... and even on XMB MENU...

hope i clearly stated what my problem is this time... sorry for any confusion...

    thanks a lot... hehehehhehe... :D :D :D

hi there. i just came up to this topic via google. i was googling about how to access the 5.03 GEN-C Menu. lol. coz everytime i open up GEN-C it actually go to the restating psp blah blah and not the main menu where can i reflash.

anyway, for your problem, install PSP Filer on your PSP and delete anything on FLASH1, be carefull though, you have to make sure you delete the files in FLASH1 and not in any other FLASH. that will reset all, even the recovery settings.
