Samsung Galaxy Note3, Android 5.0, Firmware N900ZSUEBOG2. Not work for amiiqo. I couldn't find any response in app. I will try amiibo this evening.

Galaxy S3, Android 4.3, amiiqo worked perfectly. What's wrong with Note 3...

Wait a moment, when I change my note3's battery to it's original battery (NFC chip on it) my amiiqo worked. my andriod is 5.0 So I think we need to check our cell phone's battery type (Note3 and S4)

A lot of devices NFC antennas are stored inside the factory battery. Pro Tip for anyone else who've had to change their batteries to a cheap third party one.

Galaxy S4 4.4.4 - Error scanning anything, locks down other NFC apps rendering them unusable. (Provider hasn't pushed Lolipop yet =( )

I have a Galaxy S5 and the first edition Amiiqo isn't working for me. I have NFC turned on and I don't know what to do. It won't even read my other Amiibos. Then again it could be something with the phone since other apps aren't working either.

    Working:
Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T edition (I337) with stock 4.4.2 image.

Note: Tested with 4.4.4, and it only produced errors if it recognized the characters at all.

Going to order a factory unlocked Note 5 in a couple of weeks. Anyone know if the amiiqo works with it?
If no one has posted whether it works or not by the time I get it, I'll let everyone know.

    AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3:

    4.4.2: Not working
    5.0: Not working

I'm currently on firmware N900AUCUEOC1 since updating to 5.0.

I'm trying to find someone who has a compatible phone so I can at least redeem the serial number for the USB reader, but so far it seems that all my friends have iPhones. At this rate it seems I may have wasted $80... :(

Have you replaced you battery ever? The NFC chip for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is built into the original battery that was shipped with the phone. If so you may need to get a new official battery for your S5.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200 with STOCK 4.4.2 doesn't work , this phone has the Broadcom's nfc chip.
It detecs the chip and gives "ERROR: Unsupported NFC tag found", only once then have to kill the app and restart.
