I guess that Apple want to stay in the US governments good books. Especially since they use the local law enforcement to get revenge on leaked products.

    exactly.

there have been far too many companies that seem to want uncle sam to owe them a favour just recently (or they are pressurised into it)

Not a huge surprise, but let's just hope that they find their way into the android devices. :p

Whether you admit it or not, WikiLeaks has the power to be extremely harmful.

    what fucking tools...

apple has law enforcement in their damn pocket...

the fucking police broke down the guys door who had the iPhone 4 BETA due to probable cause....

oh well...there is no freedom anymore..and our governemt is plotting to take more and more away.

jailbreakers can still get the app...

so Apple can go F$#K themselves

it also has the power to do a lot of good too whether it be disclosing the bad things done by companies, politicians or whole countries, recent events have also helped disclose just how much big business (and some countries) is in the pockets of certain politicians

i say f#$K the government and all who believe they are helping.i hope wikileaks reaches the masses and start opening peoples eyes to how corrupt governments work.they do not obey the law and remain in power but anyone else becomes a terrorist or threat to society.i cannot see how this has been going on for so long without the gov paying the price for there actions.

Pussies still thinking they can keep secrets from the public. Politicians are shitting themselves that they will finally have to be accountable to the unwashed masses.

Apple are just worried that if the US see Wikileaks on the App Store then they'll start hating on Apple, lol.

Also Wikileaks does have the upper hand, anyone download the AES Encrypted 1.4GB file from the site?

All Julian Assange has to do is release the password and who knows what could be inside that file, it's huge so it must be a LOT.
