I'm worried now, lets hope Nintendo had a change of heart and will include a hard-drive, Quality DLC tends to be pretty big.. and they have assigned 8gb of internal memory?
It would help with SD Card slot too, or Flash Drive support. Most preorder DLC is crap for 360 and PS3. Its usually only a skin, weapon and a character. There is no reason to preorder most games for the "extra" content atleast.Battlefield 3 does atleast have a remake of a map.Forza 3 did have a few preorder cars, and GOW 2 had maps. Most other games have preorder which is pissing on preordering customers. They should instead have real DLC, and sell it to those who didnt preorder.
Hard drive isn't needed, and adds to the cost. SD cards are large enough and 8 GB is a good enough start.
I guess in a few years when SD cards are even bigger and cheaper then they are now, you could get away with no HD. As long as Nintendo has enough foresight to have it be compatible with that new SD standard that I am drawing a blank on trying to remember right now...
*looks it up on Google*
SDXC is what I was trying to remember! At any rate I expect next year 64GB cards will fall to something like $40?
Not too shabby for 114$ as far as SD cards go but still on the pricey side when compared to a hard drive.
