I presume this comes with a 4Gb Memory Stick as opposed to a 4Gb HDD? Yeah, surely that must be it? Wonder if it still has the built in N capable wi-fi?

Are any of these new 360 units HDMI 1.4/1.4a compatible? Does anyone know?

if microsoft is smart, they will leave the built in wifi n. i don't see them wanting to make different motherboards, one with devices installed, one without. doesn't make economic sense.

the unit probably comes with a 4gb usb drive, again they would have to make two different motherboards. but again we are talking about microsoft.

The Wireless N is on a module and can be left out with no revision. In fact, I'm quite sure that it's precisely why it's modular, so I'm willing to bet that it will be either left out or downgraded to Wireless G.

Also, the Jasper had 512MB of built-in MU memory. This will likely have the same (it's cheaper than a USB drive and isn't going to be repurposed). They want tomake sure that you havethe ability to use and spendon the Live Arcade store and 4GB ensures that.

    4gb ? lol.

jeez ms, why not just make it reasonable like 60gb ?

i guess they want to move more of the 250 gb ones instead.

Because it's the farken arcade model - you know the cheap ass one that's half the price of a PS3. 4GB of flash memory costs all of $2 in OEM channels. That and no-one make 60GB 2.5inch platter HDDs anymore. They'd have to go to 160GB, and that'd eat into the sales of the 250Gb model.
