    Best New Mobile Games 2020

2019 was an unprecedented year for mobile gaming, with huge titles such as Call of Duty Mobile and Mario Kart Tour hitting our smartphone screens, along with a profusion of other big names and indie releases. And 2020 is shaping up to be another bumper year for mobile gaming.

As well as the new games we list here, you can find plenty of new slot and table games at online casinos Canada. Almost all new casino software these days is developed with mobile players in mind, so gameplay will be smooth and seamless on iOS and Android alike.

This round-up of the best new mobile games is by no means exhaustive, as there are simply too many on the market to include them all. This is a taster of some of the upcoming releases which are generating the biggest buzz for the coming year.

    Shadowgun: War Games

This latest release from Madfinger seems to be plugging the Overwatch-sized hole in the mobile gaming market. The graphics and setup of this first-person shooter certainly invoke comparisons to the other game, but with no mobile version anywhere on the horizon, Shadowgun: War Games will be welcomed by gamers as a great alternative.

Early reviews indicate that the game is still functioning a little like a beta version, suggesting that it was rushed to market. Even so, this is a game that many will be eager to check out, and we can look forward to improvements and modifications throughout the year and beyond.

    Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds

This is a brand new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with beautifully colourful anime-style graphics. This is a game that shows enormous potential, including customisable characters, battles and world building. The exquisitely-rendered world is populated both by irresistibly adorable creatures and fearsome monsters to defeat.

    Apex Legends

Rumours abound about the status of Apex Legends for mobile, with many suspecting that the promised release had been abandoned. Good news, however – the latest information suggests that this game will be available for mobile users in the latter part of 2020. If you’re waiting on Apex Legends, then a mobile game like Call of Duty or Infinity Ops can tide you over until launch day.

    EVE Echoes

Taking plenty of feedback from the legion of EVE Online players, this mobile version is already receiving positive reviews. Eve Echoes is a huge open-world sci-fi online multiplayer game, and there are hours of playing to be had out of it. Fans are keen to point out that there is a steep learning curve when you start playing, but that it’s well worth persevering. The immersive game has been brought successfully to mobile in beta version, and the full version is slated for release in the spring.

    Diablo Immortal

We have saved one of the best for last, as Blizzard are releasing what is arguably the world’s premier action role-playing game for Android and iOS. The mobile version reportedly delivers authentic Diablo gameplay, albeit slightly pared down from the PC and console versions. Naturally, the mobile game retains the online multiplayer aspect, and mobile players around the world can link up just as before.
