so thats 209 million people who have either been forced to sign up for a service they dont want or use (on games consoles) or who have had ea simply steal their xbox live logins without consent and 11 million who want to play games they cant play without being forced to install origin then.

i've long said that the enforced sign up on games consoles was so ea could over inflate the claimed numbers of origin accounts and these figures seem to suggest that i was correct.

I'm one of those, I tried Origin once just to play the Battlefield beta, but it's been long uninstalled and I'm not touching or buying another EA game until it is available on Steam.
