I think I remember there being issues with loading zipped ROMS. Make sure your roms are unzipped and try it again.

    Question to all..?

With the restrictions here with post count ect. It makes it very difficult/frustrating to update the way i would like to.

I think i may do a simpler list like what is in post #5 with the downloads there. I have a list up @ PSX and they gave me full Moderator access as well extending the post count dramatically over there. (which makes things much easier for me)

Im not in here to promote one site over another.. Its bad for the scene. I do what's good for the scene and an open scene is much better then site promoting like the guys in my sig like to do.

I like to have the same list here but as described above it has became very frustarting with the post count, and never knowing the limit until you try and save an update..

What i could do is a list like in post #5 with some pastie links for info.
Or i could link to PSX list i have (if that is okay) for the info. If i do that i would also put a link back there to crunch as well..

    What should i do?

No longer should a post count get in my way. It has been increased. So that means updates should be much Easier & Faster on this thread. GaryOPA also upgraded me to moderator Status for the emulators to help make things easier.

    Update:
Will also clean this thread up of any outdated post (mostly my own)..

Doing the work in a hidden forum so will bring all the updates here when finished..

The team behind the ScummVM emulator has released an update to bring this great emulator to version 1.5.0. This release is being called the "Picnic Basket" Release. If you are not familiar with ScummVM check below for a brief explanation and some history of this truly great emulator.

    What is ScummVM?

    - ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed.

    - Originally it was designed to run LucasArts' SCUMM games, such as Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle or Sam and Max. SCUMM stands for 'Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion', which was the first game for which LucasArts designed this system. And much later it gave its name to ScummVM ('VM' meaning Virtual Machine).

    - Over time support for a lot of non-SCUMM games has been added, and ScummVM now also supports many of Sierra's AGI and SCI games (such as King's Quest 1-6, Space Quest 1-5, ...), Discworld 1 and 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, Broken Sword I and II, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Gobliiins 1-3, The Legend of Kyrandia series, many of Humongous Entertainment's children's SCUMM games (including Freddi Fish and Putt Putt games) and many more. You can find a full list with details on which adventures are supported and how well on the compatibility page. ScummVM is continually improving, so check the official site ScummVM :: Home to see all the latest developments.

Made alot of progress in redoing/updating this thread.. Still some minor tweaks to do like colors (i put to much orange lol )..

Removed the System Specs and added Game screens for most systems.

The thread is setup a bit different (Post #1 which still needs some attention).
Will be a simple list one side has the Systems the PS3 emulates and has all the Emulators.
Where as the other side (right column) will so the emulators and the systems each one emulates.

Post #2 is all the info split up by system.

Post #3 is detailed info of each of the PS3 Multi-System Emulators (RetroArch & Mednafen)

Still alot of minor things to do but there has been alot of progress on it. Any suggestions or missing info.. Please let me know.. Thanks
