Hi guys, I've spent some time rewording a good section of the cheat-sheet, please tell me if anything is not clear.

Looks good to me, only thing I'd change is the tip you gave me about using bitmasks and a little bit of a description of how they work (ie. 9XXXXXXX 00FF0001 is the same as an 8-bit equal-to 1).

Hey, is the code for handling all the cheat types available as open source? I'm looking to implement Gateway cheat support into the Citra emulator, and would love to skip the reverse engineering if possible :)

Great news for Citra - the Gateway AR implementation is the same base as the regular AR but with a few coding tweaks.

I don't have any source to hand however emulators such as DeSmuME have AR capabilities, maybe you could research their code? https://sourceforge.net/projects/desmume/files/desmume/0.9.11/

There are two 3DS cheat standards right now. NTR and GW. I only briefly used NTR while waiting for GW. The reason I bring it up is because both of them reference the memory starting at a different point; if I understand it correctly.

So, "Action Replay DS" (DSAR) vs "Gateway Action Replay" (GWAR):

    • DD code exists in GWAR (keypress). Not part of DSAR schema.
    • C4, C5 and C6 codes from DSAR are not documented in GWAR
    • Manual Hook code (0x00000000) from DSAR is not documented in GWAR
    • E and F codes from DSAR are not documented by GWAR.

    Hope this helps :)

can someone help me make a code?

I want to get the value in offset 0x085506F0
and write it in both offset 0x08F99794 and 0x08F9978C
