Ok, I just wanted to ask a simple question:

Is the recently-released 3.55 CFW with SNES, NES, GBA, etc. support a stable firmware that would be safe to run on a PS3 if it is your only PS3 you own and you can't afford another one? Is there a chance that this "hacked" CFW will somehow fail or something would happen with it or is it safe?

I just want to know for sure, before I install a CFW on my PS3 and end up with something somehow failing...

Obviously we cant know for sure yet, but i'd imagine if things really did go tits up, could'nt you always reset the PS3 to Factory Settings... ?

Ity could come to corrupt and "brick" your Ps3...better be safe than sorry... no problem if you ahve an spare , but if is it the only one...:(

Also if you still have needs for online, better wait, I still can't see how this packages can go forever undetected without Sony passing the Hammer on your Ps3 one day, and compromise your Ps3 , because they base the Bans on your mac address, unique to each machine.

Did you sign in without problems? That's my only concern, I want to install this CFW.. I have zero interest on playing backups, but risking online and a hammer for a few homebrew is quite a big issue for me. Well, Big N didn't ban users that had the twilight hack, some updates just tried to block or remove channels, I hope Sony will follow a similar route...

But I hope they pass the ban on the game itself, would be lame to face people playing online with hacked version of a game, cheating and etc etc etc..
