Hi there, my PSP is currently at firmware 3.71 M33-2. I was wondering if I can update it directly to 3.90 M33 without first updating to the later versions of 3.71 M33 or 3.80 M33, or would that brick the PSP ? :)

I believe the 3.90 M33 readme says you need atleast 3.52 M33-3, so u should be fine...

even if under that, it wont brick, it'll just say you r using a firmware that's too old...

    newbbie, help please...

    Hi everyone,

Im just bought a daxter silver slim psp package and having a problem on how to play iso/cso game in my psp. While browsing this thread, i had many ideas on how to tweak my psp but now im kinda confuse on what to do. there is a choice of doing 3.9 m33 but one post says 3.71 m33-4 is better. Now im kind confuse. Can someone tell me what is the best thing to do? What is the most reliable and best version of m33 nowadays? And also how to do it in the most efficient and less expensive way?

    Thanks you very much...
I hope all of you can help me...

I've found that best RELIABLE version is still 3.71 M33-4. This is 3.90 still has problems with fake and slow ms. however, you're able to change the fatmsmod if you're a bit daring. (i've also found that it has problems connecting to the internet (through the browser), so that it gets stuck at the connecting screen (well, it doesn't even get to teh connecting screen). It's also lagged.

Easiest way is finding someone in your area, and just using pandora's battery to upgrade to 3.90 (with Despertar del Cementrio 4) or 3.71 (M33) with DCv3.

Now that God of war is out and it requires 3.90 my question is if they've fixed the slow memory card reading issue that occurred in 3.80 in the latest release 3.90 M33-2?
    I currently have a 3.71M33-4 on a slim.

Need Help. How to change 3.93ofw to 3.93m33cfw

Hi, I need help. I just upgrade my psp slim to 3.93 Official Firmware, but it can directly play iso/cso file. Does anyone know how to change 3.93 Official Firmware to 3.93m33 Custom Firmware.

    Thanks first.

Hey everyone! I'm kinda of having a problem with my slim. I have 3.90 m33-3 and it does work when I don't have my pandora battery in. Thing is, I'm not totally sure I have TM installed right (although I don't know how you can screw it up), which makes me think that is why my psp won't boot with the pandora battery in. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? I start up my psp without the battery, then run TM (installing 1.50 with 3.40 modules). Is there something I should be doing before that?

Edit: Nevermind :). I just fixed my own stupid problem... Guess I should of read the WHOLE read me file. Had to install the ipl loader first, the install 1.50. Ignore my post.:p

    Hello guys,

I just bought a new Slim PSP. It came with 3.80 on it and I would like to go ahead and get DA's stuffs on here ASAP. I have followed this guide and everything went alright but it didn't seem to overwrite the firmware when I booted with the pandora's batt. on the slim. I saw that it was for version 3.60. I admit I haven't read through all 36 pages of this thread, but I have read the last two. It seems that there is a way to create an Ultimate Pandora's Batt.? If someone could please link me to a guide on that I would greatly appreciate it.

    TIA!
