Maxlander not recognized

    When I plug the maxlander into a computer it never shows up as a USB device or is recognized by the software. I have tried multiple computers (3) / operating systems (Windows 7 and OSX) just to test but nothing happens. The software just sits there asking me to connect the portal. The blue light slowly comes on but nothing ever happens.

    doesn't sound well, have you tried a different cable?

    on mine the blue light only come on if there is a token or character on the portal.

    might be faulty.

    rory is right, if you saw the blue light slowly come on but no token on the maxlander, please contact to the seller for replacement, it's faulty.

    I did try different cords and it still did the same thing. I sent an email with my order info to [email protected] who I bought it from. Hopefully I will hear back.

    i have the same problem, and also mailed to the [email protected]
    Bought it on nfcgm.com but same mail adres
    in 12 hours they wil reply ?
    but still no answer
    hope to get an answer soon

    response in 12 hours?

    Hi guys, I've exactly the same problem of radio135 and snucko... have you recieve same reply from a seller?
    Same tool/trick for reset the device or... recieve a new Maxlander?

    Here's what ended up happening. I reached out to them and they had me return my unit. After they got my broken one they sent me a new unit and it works perfectly now. I would suggest you reach out to them with your order number and they will work with you to take care of it.

    Now I hope in a fast resolution, but waht about your feeling about device?
    I'm really excited to use it :)

    I really enjoy it, once I got the replacement it works great. If you are like me you now want to buy a bunch more tokens :)

    I too have the exact same issue with one of my portals. I've contacted the manufacturers via their online contact form, as well as, their e-mail directly; however, I yet to see a response. It's been about a week now with no reply.

    I hope to fix my problem, I've send it in these days and now... I'm just waiting...

    Still waiting for mine to get here but they have it at the factory they told me but all in all wish the turn around time was quicker for getting a replacement portal.

    I've write many e-mail after my expedition... and I NEVER recieve an answer!!!
    I'm starting to think about a BIG FRAUD :-(
    No answer... no info at all...

    I'LL NOT RECCOMEND TO BUY THIS DEVICE!!!

    Yeah sorry to hear that afraid of it being the same case for me as well. Hard lesson to learn sadly and I don't think they are worried at this moment and their other product launching to focus on that and throw the MaxLander by the way side.

    Just wish I would of known more about the return policy before I bought the device.

    For your information, team maxlander doesn't own the resellers including maxlander.net.

    Originally I was really exicited for this device and I have think to make a video tutorial in italian and german for enlarge the market of this device but now... :-(

    Hey my Maxlander arrived today - I got the same problem
    the device just blinks slowly in blue - the software says "please connect Portal"
