It's been 4 months now since I shipped off my faulty Maxlander Portal to China for a replacement/fix.
After several months, I finally received my replacement Maxlander Portal.
Plugged it in, and it works as it's supposed to.
I thought I would never see the day.
I still never received any communication from their support.
Glad it worked out in the long run.
Keep up hope for anyone else that shipped theirs off.

I am really disappointed. Ordered from aliexpress (was linked in retailers list on maxlander.net) and i hope i have success getting a new one.
i just wonder why i cant find it on device manager to deinstall drivers.....
Yeah same issue also , bought last weekend of modchip83 , arrived today , light just comes on and says connect portal , tried on 3 diff laptops , win 7 , win 8 & win 10 , so contacted seller for advice and arrange return if deemed faulty
have now tried it in a VM running xp , and a laptop running xp , still just blue light and connect portal screen
