    I don't think it's that dead.
I mean, there are still people waiting for more informations about the way to use Imaginator's with their Amiiqo.

    >I don't think that's gonna happen. Hardware the same but specifically different. I'll just say from me, I've figured out the process for my personal education in how these and old gen figures work. I wish u the best in your efforts. A few of u know how to contact me outside of here with help and questions. Hit me up. We'll figure it out. ;)

The thing to remember is no one is going to tell u how to do it, u have to do it ya self. Although, questions are allowed. No one is just going to tell u step by step. If any of u are thinking that.

Well, i don't myself know where to contact you outside.
I'm not waiting for a step by step actually, but rather a start step, and a way to follow.

My main goal would be to be able to backup Imaginators toys, and restore to tokens.
Upgrading or modifiy would be in a second time.

Imaginators, u personally own can be backed up ! As for restoring to tokens, let it go. I think a few know and their not probably gonna tell ya and or give u any info. Its a higher echelon of peeps that work together and really dont share their work. My advice is to help ya self and ask questions, u might get some answers and helpful tips. I was able to figure it out that way ! Guud luck !

Well, of it's a matter of higher echelon, i won't aim too high and let it go.
    Thank you for your explanations.

Thats why NO one shares their work because others aren't willing to help themselves and others. No one has time to just say here ya go.. DO THIS ! A lot of time has been put in to get where we are. Guud Luck to u..

It's a shame to spend so much time, as you say, and finally not share anything.
I won't argue, nor claim, nor whine either. It's not a matter of life.
But with this way of thinking, humanity would still live in caves eating raw meat...

I'm not trying to offend any one but I'm not sharing anything but the knowledge I have to those that are willing to help themselves. I'll try to answer questions as best I can. I will only share any files to trusted few, they know who they are. Google is a great start. If u really interested in this, skylander editor is a great source of how the figures work. Read info on it.

theres really only two kinds of sharing. open source (original editor was open source), and then "lets make money" (ie maxlander software/hardware). open source is great for sharing with everyone, putting it up on a bunch of sites so a lot of people can keep that information incase one site hosting it goes down (c&d). "lets make money" is rarely good for anyone (maxlander is GONE).
if we are careful, redundant, and show our work to the world.. then all of us would benefit.

i dream about skylander stuff being like pokemon hacking. with sites dedicated to it, and editors and programs. advance guides of what bits make what bytes do what stuff.

sorry if my noobishnes and eagerness makes me seem like an arrogant hippy. i just want us all to be happy :D

I'm still stuck on how to do the whole thing. Can I just buy an arc122u reader/writer and some mifare 1k changeable tags to get the job done or do I really have to hunt down a Maxlander?

Any PM with help would be so appreciated.

yeah, i already gone there since and asked for advices to get my NFC reader working.
It's really nice that things evolved there, sadly not here.
