i either want this one that has 6gb of ram on it
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487040

or this one that seems faster but only has 3gb of ram
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500322

the price difference isn't all that much, and i damn sure don't want an amd card ( never been a fan )

so which one should i go with?
6gb of vram would pretty much future proof it
but the extra speed would come in handy but i'd be sacrificing 3gb's of vram lol
( keep in mind i like to mod the hell out of my games skyrim anyone? lol )
so the extra vram would help....
idk i'm stuck lol.... what do you guys think?

When I looked it up just now, people are saying the speed is more important. Edit: Then again, others are saying the ram is more important. So what I would say is this: is the speed difference between the two cards significant? If it is, then while the card with more vram may be futureproofed in that sense, but if it can't really handle newer games in terms of speed, then that would be a concern for me. You could go with the card that didn't need to be upgraded sooner. What I mean is, if you'd need to upgrade due to the vram not being enough or because of the gpu speed not being good enough, the card that will last longer is the one I would go with. That, or you could consider what is more important. Like yourself, I also tend to heavily mod games like skyrim. either card would probably last me for a long time, but the extra ram might benefit me longer.
