Sony has released a nice PR announcement, that shows clearly their PlayStation 4 console is still selling well, with over 5.9 million units moved during the holiday season from November 20 to December 31, and that total lifetime sales are over 73.9 million, with almost half of those having PlayStation Plus memberships.
So did you grab an PlayStation 4 during the holidays finally, and if so why? and what model normal or pro?

when we see nintendo brag that its next portable/home console combined hits 10mil, id like to see how its sales are going after all these years.

bet as usual nintendo your off to a good start but bet you fail to keep the momentum going.

bet youll be first to release your next system come the launch of the ps5 xbxonex2

No this is Nintendo, they'll release it mid-late cycle when it's more likely to cause problems.

The only thing which may 'save' Nintendo is if the portable aspect is still popular enough, some very popular IP/games (e.g. a full Pokemon game) and effectively forcing devs to support it in some way because of it's user base (at least for a while, like with the Wii).

But I wouldn't be surprised to see a new model/revision coming in the next year e.g. more storage and hardware 'fixes'.
