    1. Obtain PSP game in PKG format and put it in this directory.
    (Only for DEX users - you need also make_edata_npdrm.exe - put in tools dir)

    =====================================================
    IF YOU WANT TO USE ISO INSTEAD OF EBOOT.PBP
    - Copy ISO file here
    - RUN ISO2EBOOT (name output PBP as EBOOT.PBP)
    - GO TO STEP 3

    IF ERROR APPEARS THAT ISO IS TOO BIG TOO FAKE THEN TRY TO DELETE FROM ISO UPDATE DIRECTORY IN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR USING UMDGEN

    IF ERROR APPEARS THAT EBOOT ISN'T SIGNED THEN UNPACK ISO WITH UMDGEN, DELETE FILE OPNSSMP.BIN FROM ISODIR/PSP_GAME/SYSDIR/
    (THIS FILE COULD NOT EXIST SOMETIMES).
    COPY EBOOT.BIN TO PSP2PS3 DIR AND RUN SIGN_EBOOT. REPACK ISO USING UMDGEN WITH SIGNED EBOOT.BIN (OVERWRITE OLD ONE)

    WORKS ONLY IF GAME HAVE SIGNED MODULES
    (SIGNEM MODULES STARTS WITH "~SCE")
    =====================================================

    2. Put pkg in PSP2PS3 dir and run EXTRACT_PKG

    3. Run MAKE_EDATS_[CEX/DEX]

    4. Run MAKE_PACKAGE (after packaged is created script will ask to tranfer pkg to PS3 via FTP)

    (IMPORTANT FOR DEX USERS! If you have "Package Manager" [eg in Rebug FW] and you want to install package you'll see only "Please Wait" message.
    Wait till message dissappear then go to Package Manager -> Playstation Network Content and install your package from there).

    Tested on Rebug 4.30.2 CEX/DEX

    Changelog:
    v1.7.3
    -MAKE_EDATS_CEX:
    ---FIXED: Starting EDAT Tool when user chooses to unpack iso
    -MAKE_PACKAGE:
    ---FIXED: Issue when function sleep doesn't exist in system - pause will be used insted of it.
    -ISO2EBOOT:
    ---Extension in output filename is now required
    ---DONOR.PBP isn't required anymore. Replaced fake_np with one which doesn't need DONOR //thanks to Aldo (aka aldostools)

    -Replaced make_package_npdrm with psn_package_npdrm
    -Added UMDGEN to PSP2PS3 package (in tools directory)
    -FIXED: Generating package with proper CID (based on GameID)

    v1.5
    -Added compatibility with CEX FW (EDAT Tool GUI included)

    (package will be transferred to dev_hdd0:/packages)

      Sorry guys I can't be of assistance currently. I haven't tried this, but I will eventually. Still messing around with ps2 classics. Aldo Vargas helped on the last version, so if you have questions I would ask him or szczuru (the author), they both are members on crunch.

      edit:
      I've never owned a PSP so if you guys inform me of some great games/franchises, I may be more inclined to test this faster. I remember at one point when Peace Walker came out that was the only reason I wanted a PSP, luckily I got the MGS trilogy on PS3.

      So if there's any games on PSP you'd recommend or PSP games in franchises I like e.g.; Assassin's Creed, Syphon Filter, MGS, any shooters & survival horror, please get me interested!

      (also, if any of these games have been ported to ps2 or ps3 chances are I already have them.)

      Even I am struggling to think of good PSP-only titles that I might enjoy playing - the only ones I can think of right now are the Ridge Racer titles and that is it.

      You can try Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, Dissidia: Final Fantasy (without save_tmp fix) and Loco Roco Midnight Carnival (using the save_tmp fix).
      These games are working fine without [email protected]vikasnarula
      try deleting the save_tmp/load_tmp/open_tmp folders in USRDIR.
      If it doesn't help, try creating the PKG again without the save_tmp fix.

      The compatibility is not very high, but it's nice to play some of the PSP exclusives on the big screen (without having to use the FuSa plugin or the expensive component cable for the PSP-2000/3000).

      just as an FYI:
      save/loading is not supported on 3.55 (at least that what i been reading)

      compatablity is low but since PSP library is so large there is a good number of titles that play wiith no issues. I think as the scene investigates the emulator more, that could improve as well. Some game i suspect it is minor issues preventing it from loading.

      Should be possible to get more working/improve those that are. Back when Cobra was updating, compatibility improved for a few revisions.

      I noticed some problems in the 'latest version of PSP2PS3 v1.7.3de specifically in two files: the CEX.bat and MAKE.bat

      In CEX.BAT if you want to use a different folder PSPP00000 eg ULES00918 the program ignores what has been entered and continues with the creation of the EBOOT.PBP into the folder PSPP00000

      Changes to the file CEX.BAT (in bite 1.3a) or 2. MAKE_EDATS_CEX.bat

      Code:
      @echo off
       cls

      set CURDIR=%~dp0
       cd “%curdir%”
      set CURDRIVE=%curdir:~0,2%
       %CURDRIVE%

      if exist “%1″ copy /y “%1″ EBOOT.PBP
       if not exist EBOOT.PBP goto NoEBOOT

      set pspdir=PSPP00000
       set tmp_folders=

      set /p pspdir=Inserisci il nome della directory del gioco o premi ENTER per usare PSPP00000:
       if /i {%pspdir%}=={} (set pspdir=PSPP00000)

      set /p tmp_folders=Vuoi creare il PKG con le cartelle save_tmp fix ? [Y/N] [Default=NO]:

      if /i {%pspdir%}=={PSPP00000} (cd tools)
       if /i {%pspdir%}=={PSPP00000} (if exist PSPP00000 rd /s /q PSPP00000)

      if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={} (set tmp_folders=n)
       if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={y} (7z.exe x -r -y -o.. PSPP00000.7z)
       if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={yes} (7z.exe x -r -y -o.. PSPP00000.7z)
       if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={n} (7z.exe x -r -y -o.. PSPP00001.7z)
       if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={no} (7z.exe x -r -y -o.. PSPP00001.7z)
       if /i {%pspdir%}=={PSPP00000} (cd ..)

      if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={n} (goto save_tmp_no)
       if /i {%tmp_folders%}=={no} (goto save_tmp_no)

      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%” “mkdir %pspdir%”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\save_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\save_tmp”
      echo.>”%pspdir%\save_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\open_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\open_tmp”
      echo.>”%pspdir%\open_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\load_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\load_tmp”
      echo.>”%pspdir%\load_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR\save_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR\save_tmp”
      echo.>”%pspdir%\USRDIR\save_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR\open_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR\open_tmp”
      echo.>”%pspdir%\USRDIR\open_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR\load_tmp” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR\load_tmp
       echo.>”%pspdir%\USRDIR\load_tmp\dummy.bin”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR\CONTENT” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR\CONTENT”

      :save_tmp_no

      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%” “mkdir %pspdir%”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR”
      IF NOT EXIST “%pspdir%\USRDIR\CONTENT” mkdir “%pspdir%\USRDIR\CONTENT”

      :ask_extract_iso

      ... as follows in the file of Aldostools

      In MAKE.BAT the following statement:
      Code:
      dir / b "* - * _00-*"> pkg.txt && set / p pspdir = <"pkg.txt"

      Not allowed to create file.pkg because it created an error "file not found" and out of the batch

      Changes to the file MAKE.bat (in bite 1.3a) or 3. MAKE_PACKAGE.bat

      I commented for lines:

      Code:
      REM dir / b "* - * _00-*"> pkg.txt && set / p pspdir = <"pkg.txt"
      REM pkg.txt
      REM if exist% pspdir% (goto: pic_yes)

      A big thank you to aldos the efforts made so far

      An observation, known in the decryption and recryption to a similarity with the file EDAT content of PSN DLC

      Am I wrong, I have a procedure with some adjustments, could lead to tools for recryption with Klicensee Free DLC content etc..

      @smikk
      My mod is intended to work with minimal user interaction (thus it always uses PSPP00000 and ignores any changes).
      The MakeEDATs.exe expects that the template PSPP00000 folder is present and auto-renames it to a unique Content ID (PSPPS3-<titleid>_00-0000000000000001) using the title id from the ISO

      Regarding the other change. As the MakeEDATs.exe renames the template folder as a Content ID. The following code, identifies what CID was created and sets it to pspdir variable:
      Code:
      dir /b "*-*_00-*">pkg.txt&&set /p pspdir=<"pkg.txt"

      Maybe you're using the batch file manually. In that case, you'll have to make these kind of changes that you suggest.

      So the iso must have the filename in the format PSPPS3-XXYY00000_00_0000000000000001.ISO

      Thanks for the clarification

      Ok I got ultimate ghouls n ghosts to work and play on PS3.

      However the next game I tried hung at the "Creating package..." screen
      (I checked task manager to make sure program wasn't froze, it wasn't, it was running)
      Is this what will happen if a game isn't going to work or will it always make a package and testing on PS3 is how you determine if it works or not?

      Metal Gear Acid loads then black screens (However I'm going to redo this one as in XMB it had the name of the game that I mentioned previously that wouldn't get past the creating package screen)

      This shouldn't need a tutorial, but here's one for Bite v1.3a that I made. I realize that there are people actually dumber than I am ;)
      ________________________________________________________________
      START TUTORIAL (Bite v1.3a)
      I chose to do this tutorial on ISO method because this is the format that most people will have
      (Everything in quotes is what is actually displayed by the program in the command window)

      1. Get PSP iso
      2. rename PSP iso to NP.ISO
      3. drag and drop it into Bite root folder (same folder as bite.exe)
      4. Start bite.exe
      5. press X on PSP GUI
      6. press O on PSP GUI (Create a PKG from an ISO file)

      The command window should show something like this:
      (wait for percentage above to reach 100% obviously)

      (Pick N for No unless a compatibility chart or something says otherwise)

      The command window should show something like this:
      (wait for percentage above to reach 100% obviously)

      Then
      flashes quickly on command window

      Then command window will display
      (wait for percentage above to reach 100% obviously)

      Prompt will pop up:
      Done! Package created as (PKG name).pkg

      Assassin's Creed Bloodlines works with this method. But freezes after pick yes or no when it mentions memory stick. I'm going to dump/convert this again but with tmp save fix (or whatever its called) and see what happens.

      Update:

      Same behaviour even with tmp save fix, freezes after picking Yes or No on memory stick page. AC logo spinning on right bottom of screen will freeze.
