This is a simple, crunchy tool to restore PSN activation files from your backup. If the activation is somehow broken for you, for example by setting QA Flag, then PS3 removes these files after every restart and you have to restore them when you want to play PSN content.
This tool will do that for you. It's easier and way faster.

It works with multiple act.dat files/accounts.

What it does: It looks for act.dat file in "home/000000XX/exdata/backup/act.dat"(so put them there) and copies it to "home/000000XX/exdata/". It works from 00000001 to 00000013, should be enough.
It doesn't show anything on screen so don't worry. You can check in a file manager if the files are where they should be.

Run this app when you want to use PSN content after a console restart.

Made using, PSLIGHT, geohot's and fail0verflow's tools.

Finally being able to deal with every user folder is a god-send to those of us with multiple =) So when downgrading to a lower firmware, is it absolutely guaranteed that you WILL have to restore act.dat each time?

    I'm glad it's useful for you. :)

It was Rebug FW that broke the activation for me and I didn't use any fancy function like Remove Game Licence. It was long before I downgraded with QA flags, so I don't know, however, there are reports of the activation being lost this way. Gitbrew twitted about this.

Yep, I lost all act.dat for all users just installing OtherOS++ PUP to QA Flag.

I've been running Rebug FW since they first came out, no issues with game licenses here. I have absolutely ZERO interest in the useless QA flag, despite certain pricks bigging it up to be more than it was, so it will never be installed on my system.

We need a utility that could decrypt PS3 data backup images.
That way it would be easy to recover the ACT and Rif's after a downgrade.
    Even capture new ones.

    Hello.

I had REBUG 3.55.2 installed, and had a lot of content activated via reactpsn.
Now I switched to TB CFW v2. All teh files remained in the exdata folder, but my content don"t work anymore.
Tried to install some game but all don't work/don't get activated?

Any ways to make them work?

Probably You exchanged HDD or swap xRegistry.sys and after that, PS3 starting deleting "dev_hdd0/home/<all users>/exdata/act.dat" after each reboot.
On Rebug 3.55.2-6 this file is prevent from deleting.

Ow, and TB CFW have not modification for support reactpsn.
