    Dreamcast was really great.
I loved every game I ever bought for it.
It was the console I spent the most money on in the least amount of time.

If Sega ever did come out with another console, I would buy it in an instant.

I think if they got some big developers, they could have a real winner.

Space Channel 5 was good too. I'm glad my friend forced me to play it.

I will only be happy if I see Evolution 1/2 (I'm missing evo 2 on the DC T_T), Skies of Arcadia (I would skip a day of school just to play that :D), Power Stone(it's on with my friends), Rayman 2(make my bro jealous), and so much more.

Dreamcast was really great - especially after it got hacked.
I loved every game I downloaded for it.
It was the console I spent the least money on and played on the most amount of time.

    Lol.
My friends did the same thing. I remember one time we went to Chinatown, they got 20 games for $40.

    Homebrew was good too.
All in all it was great (except for the huge controller and noisy fan - but you get used to it after a while)

I'm glad Sega went the software route. All those years of Nintendo vs Sega. Who wanted to own 2 systems? Now with 3 dominant systems out there, how could Sega even have a chance? Inevitably they would lose money on every console, plus they would have to cover returns because of next gen heating issues just like the others.

Sega did the right thing. It's hard to type that sentence.

How would a HD version of Space Channel 5 even work?

Nearly the entire game was made up of FMV, only the characters and bosses were actually rendered in realtime 3D, the entire backgrounds were just MPEG video, they would need to remake hours of video in order to actually make a HD version..... unless they want the characters to look HD but the backgrounds look extremely pixelated or blotchy.

These games are not so much HD remakes as they are ports.. in general do not expect much if any improvement on quality.. heck do not even expect widescreen support.

I would love to see illbleed transferred to another platform. IMO best game ever on the dreamcast. Very innovative.

A lot of people owned two consoles.
It was much easier to afford 2 consoles back then than it is now.

Nintendo's nont losing money on the Wii now, and they don't have heating issues like Xbox 360 or PS3.
Sega is a still a big name when it comes to gaming, and I think they'd have a easier time of getting back into the console game over newer companies.
(More than MS did a few years ago, although Sega doesn't have as much money as them.)

It would be a huge gamble, to be sure, especially in a market that already has 3 home consoles. It would be a move that would make or break the company.

    Why Dreamcast?

How about sega games we want to see in HD.

How about porting the sega Saturn library?

Why does SEGA hate Nights into dreams so much? I'd like to see some creativity... What about a remake of the original first Toe Jam and Earl , overhead view or a new HD sonic spin ball?

Where the he'll is the arcade Daytona USA, you know the version that never made it to home version.... (so frustrating)

it's hard being a sega fan

I'd pay big buck for original nights into dreams for 3dtv and move
