As 2020 has gotten underway, many of us are deliberating over the best titles that 2019 had bought us. With titles from every genre as well as exciting announcements at E3 in terms of console as well as game titles for 2020, 2019 was certainly a big year for the industry.

In this article, we will be providing insight into some of the top console games of 2019.

    Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Though the final film in the new trilogy is out into the world, the Star Wars adventures are far from over. With stunning graphics new story arcs in the form of Padawan Cal Kestis and amazing gameplay, Fallen Order is exactly what every Star Wars fan could have asked for. Not only can you master the art of lightsaber combat, but you also get to hone your powers and explore the world with your new companion BD-1. Work to defeat the galactic empire and harness the power of the force in this classic tale of good versus evil.

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Another popular game of 2019 that made it onto a number of top 10 lists is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. After winning the gamer of the year at the game awards, this all-out ninja game is one that has been popular for so many. With over 50 award nominations and a storyline that is enjoyable to play through, you are bought to protect the young lord and his bloodline. When the young lord is captured you are playing through to defend your honour and protect him all whilst exploring 1500s Sengoku Japan.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Another game that had many people excited in 2020 was the launch of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. This traditional Call of Duty Title came equipped with a Battle Royal mode, Campaign, Multiplayer and a Special ops mode that is only available on PS4. What sets this Call Of Duty Game apart from the rest is the mobile application. With a Battle Royale mode available on mobile devices as well as a battle pass in the main game you can begin to hone your skills and come out on top with killstreaks to get to the top of the leader board. In addition to a mobile application and the main title game, there are also Call Of Duty themed slots. This is a great move from Activision for those that love the franchise as you can with a huge jackpot of $100,000 with bonus features whilst enjoying a number of characters from the game.

The art of using popular franchises such as this to drive users to a slot game has been around for years and has seen a number of slots providing hours of fun to those that love online gambling. With themed slots such as this and bonuses such as Vegas Slots Online available, many begin to play slots online for the thrill of the game with their favourite characters.

    Kingdom Hearts 3

For those that are looking for wholehearted fun with all your favourite Disney characters, Kingdom Hearts III is ideal for you. With a number of Disney Characters to team up within the war against an army of Heartless, this is the perfect game for everyone. With graphics and game mechanics that we have grown to love from Square Enix, this animated adventure is definitely one for Disney fans as well as those that love combat. This is the perfect installment to the franchise just 12 years on from Kingdom hearts 2.

    Resident Evil 2

The final game that was very popular throughout 2019 is Resident Evil 2. This remake of the original title from 1998 bought the story many gamers know and love to life. Hailed as a gaming masterpiece in 1998 this remastered edition of this classic game brings new graphics and intricate detail to bring a whole new look to Raccoon City. Whether you played the original way back when or you are just beginning to enjoy this franchise now, this game has earned its rightful spot on this list.

With this in mind, there have been a number of games that have captured the attention of audiences throughout 2019. But with the release of the Xbox series X and PS5 in the holiday season of 2020, this year could be the year that gaming becomes even bigger and better than before. Are you excited about what 2020 can bring?
