Sony has started to talk about PS5, and that means any time now we’ll have to bid goodbye to another era in gaming.

The PS4 has some of the best games in the world, but there are some amazing titles that are absolutely must-play for every gaming fan. Though we haven’t included ‘The Witcher’ in our list (we tried), click here to play fun card games just like Geralt plays Gwent.

Here are 10 games on PS4 you must try:

    10. Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls, the series that practically birthed the difficult-but-fair gameplay genre, came to a spectacular close with Dark Souls 3. The game had everything that fans had come to expect — from the awe-inspiring locales to finely tuned combat — and more — a new emphasis on versatility and speed inspired by Bloodborne.

    9. Monster Hunter World

Everyone expected Monster Hunter World to be good, but no one was quite ready for how awesome it came out to be. Capcom’s updated RPG will hook you on with unlimited weapon types, huge creatures, stunning environments, and an addictive loot for spoils system. TIP: always aim for the weak spots.

    8. Fortnite

The Battle Royale genre has taken the gaming world by storm, and Fortnite is arguably one of the best in it. As 100 players drop into a huge map, they have to engage in intense shootouts and towering build battles to become the last one standing. Epic Games pumps out new content every often to keep the game fresh even for seasoned players.

    7. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

This game had everyone trembling with excitement and fear at the same time when it came out. This first-person reboot relies on a fear that builds up over time to deliver a fresh experience. With a new camera and amazing story, it pulls its weight as one of the best survival horror games of all time.

    6. What Remains of Edith Finch

What Remains of Edith Finch is a beautiful reminder that games can make you feel everything. You follow Edith as she uncovers the story of her ancestors to figure out why she’s the only Finch left. It will break your heart and make you cry and help you uncover your own emotions, even the ones you didn’t know you had.

    5. Grand Theft Auto 5

GTA 5 isn’t amazing because of its detailed textures, shinier cars, or even the awesome first-person mode. It’s amazing because of the endless possibilities. Thie definitive edition of the greatest open-world game ever delivers an unforgettable story and experience through three equally unforgettable main characters, and it holds up well even today.

    4. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Now here is a game whose success lies in its details. The series is famous for the big action set-pieces that are sure to leave your mouth agape, but it’s the attention to detail in those moments that will really capture you. The studio has also added great character arcs for the first time in the series.

    3. Detroit: Become Human

In their latest title, Quantic Dream brings a fascinating story centred around 2038 Detroit to life. The game explores what might happen if Androids gain sentience and break away from their programming. You’ll have to make tough choices and the massive progression tree clearly shows how impactful each of your decisions will be.

    2. Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar has done it yet again. This masterpiece lets players explore a massive, glorious open world that has a million things to do, many people to interact (meet/rob/kill), and hours of fun missions to complete. In between the intense action, the gripping story will carry you through the game and you’ll not want to get out of its world for weeks and months.

    1. God of War

The God of War is a beloved experience for many gaming fans, and the new one does not let down in any way. It’s a fresh take on the action series, and while Kratos is still angry and the game still has horrifically awesome violence, the entire structure has been remarkedly improved. Kratos’ story has much depth now because of having his son Atreus along on his adventure. This game is the best showcase for PS4 and will instantly draw in any game lover.
