The Perfect Connection for online video gambling and growing eSports gaming community

While Bitcoin has been for sure a great currency for online gambling activities a recent report says it can also ignite the new development of professional and private video gaming eSports tournaments

A recent blog talks about how the usage of BitCoin has enabled online video gaming sites to expand quickly, and the author of this report thinks the same will allow for more eSports tournaments like private ones instead of just the big boys like Activision hosting them with real cash prizes, smaller groups will be able to setup and fund their own eSports events using crypto-bucks like BitCoins.

The full report which you can read in the links below, goes on to talk about how BitCoins has also already started to be used for in-app purchases in mobile games, but sadly Apple has current banned apps that attempt to do so.

What do you think about this growing usage of crypto-loonies (yeah, I am Canadian) in the our world of Video Gaming, and will in-fact infact ignite more people like on Twitch to organize their own eSports parties or will the whole live game watching fad just die off soon?
