More Wii U Scene Action Today! - An Official Statement from the Team WiiUBru after early redNAND leaks!
For the past three weeks there has been heavy active development on our WiiUBrU forums regarding the IOSU exploit by generous users of the community. It has been developed in the public-eye, and as a result was able to gain speed quickly by not creating a barrier for people who wanted to get involved.
It has been a very busy month for the Nintendo Wii U Scene, with finally all the puzzles pieces coming together and getting released, and now after the much crazed redNAND leak yesterday, the Team WiiUBru has fought back with an long official statement about the whole project and what is still left to be done, and why we should not use the leaked files, and what we can do as user to help if you wish, and on top of all that they released their official CFW Booter that is the key to all the rest allowing to boot patched Nintendo Wii U Firmware images from your SDCard using your native v5.5.1 firmware, allowing you to do amazing things now and in the future on your Wii U console without ever touching your nicely exploitable firmware, which is handy if big 'N' patches it all up.
So there you have it, the base files you will need have been released, and now we just need correctly patched fw.img files to play with, in the meantime the Team WiiUBru have released this long statement on why you need to wait, and how you can help out the project.
And the team wants you to keep on eye on their official webpage (see link below), in the meantime we will be following this hot news story as it develops more, and we love to hear your comments regarding all the recent Wii U advancements in the scene finally.
