Microsoft comes clean, published their ToS for XB1

The whole truth, and nothing but the truth, regarding the DRM XBONE, and Where, What, When, Why by Microsoft themselves. Official site goes Live with full information on your rights and non-rights!

Well Microsoft has their hands full, without waiting any longer, they decided to put to bed all the DRM rumors, and published your license rights and the connectivity needs for their new next-gen Xbox One console, and its basically just like the rumors, except for one more thing added, you can trade games to your friends ONCE (they can't re-trade again) if you been nice Live buddies for 30 days or more!

"The telescreen received and transmitted simultaneously. Any sound Winston made, above the level of a very low whisper, would be picked up by it; moreover, so long as he remained within the field of vision which the metal plaque commanded, he could be seen as well as heard. There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever the wanted to. You had to live- did live, from habit that became instinct- in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized."

I've seen t-shirts that say, "The answer to 1984 is 1776." Anyway, the best way to go about things is to just not buy their console. When the sales numbers roll in, MS will realize they made a few mistakes. This whole Windows 8 powered product cycle has been quite the debacle for them. Supposedly they're bringing back the start menu and standard desktop with Windows 8.1, so I guess we'll see what happens shortly after the Xbone rolls out. I certainly don't think the sales numbers will be anything like they were with the 360.

they are bringing back the start button, not the start menu. supposedly if you hit start it jumps you back to that ghastly metro start screen that most people try to avoid.

Chances are the people wearing these haven't even read 1984 beyond an Apple commercial.

I can only hope this works, the thing that concerns me is the ignorant masses who either don't know or worse don't care.

what should concern you is that even if it gets withdrawn so people will buy the thing you know that its built into the systems dna and ms can easily flip the switch.
